Since the earthquake of May 12th in Sichuan, the GDCF Düsseldorf and partners have been able to raise the sum of EUR 7100,- in order to support the Jiuling-school 九岭学校. After consultation with local authorities and in close cooperation with our partner in the field Sichuan Youxie, the money now flows directly into the reconstruction of the school.

In a celebration in Sichuan on August 27th our 2nd chairman Michael Ruhland, passed through the donation to the school. This also offered a good opportunity to learn more about the conditions in the areas devastated by the earthquakes.
