Introduction-round! We are Xihui and Michael, a Chinese-German couple. Xihui is from Beijing in China and Michael from Dortmund in Germany. We are married and we are now living in Duesseldorf, Germany. Xihui is a fashiondesigner and Michael is an IT consultant. Our common hobby is photography. Xihui is mostly in front of the camera while Michael is usually behind it.

Fortunatly the Sichuan earthquake did not affect the Chinese part of our families. But we feel deep compassion for all those who were not so lucky. That is why we would like to help the victims at least a little bit with our campaign Art&Aid - above all we want to help the children. Because if the children cannot go to school and if they have no warm place to sleep in winter, then something is seriously wrong. But together we can for sure move the situation a bit into a good direction.
